Another power outage is coming to El Segundo. Just when you thought everything had been fixed, now we find out there is more heading our way.
The next outage will come on July 26th. The areas around the corner of Sheldon St. and Palm Ave. may be without power. The outage will start at 6 a.m. and should be done by 2 p.m.
The downed power will affect approximately 26 residences and one commercial customer.
There are a number of things that should be done in preparing for a power outage. The obvious of clearing your freezer is something to look at. Also putting any medications in a cool place such as an ice cooler to get through the lapse.
Beside the above mentioned, it is always a good idea to have a flashlight and plenty of candles on hand. Although the times listed look to be as accurate as possible, complications can arise where it takes a lot longer. If this is the case you want to be prepared the long haul. The key is to be ready for anything.
