Chick-fil-A wants into El Segundo and they are willing to construct a new building to do so.
El Segundo has a lot going on right now. With the recent announcement bout the LA Times and that the city is going after Silicon Beach to become a hot destination to the creative crowd, Chick-fil-A wants to be a part of it.
So much so, they are willing to tear down an existing building and construct one of their own. According to plans submitted to the city, Chick-fil-A will tear down the building at 740 N. Supulveda Blvd. and build a 4,996 square-foot restaurant that will sit 188 hungry chicken lovers.
On the outside there will be a drive through that will have a 19-car capacity. Parking spaces will be set for close to 70 cars. There will also be an outdoor patio.
The company has found itself embroiled in controversy over the years for their beliefs. They have also grown a passionate and loyal following of fans for their chicken sandwiches and unique dipping sauces.
Chick-fil-A is one of the few restaurants that remains closed on Sunday.
