LA Kings End Losing Streak With 4-3 Win Over NY Rangers

The LA Kings end their losing streak with a 4-3 win over the NY Rangers on Sunday afternoon. The Kings were the second worst team in the league heading into action. And life wasn’t looking good with the club not being able to win and the coach on the verge of getting blown out.

After getting down 2-0 quickly in the first, the team did a complete turn around. The good fortune was led by Ilya Kovalchuk and newly-returned, Dustin Brown. Both notching key goals. It went on from there.

Huge Win

The win solved a lot of problems for the Kings. Just how long the problems will be solved for has yet to be determined.

Coach John Stevens looked to be at the end of his rope. We posed the question before the game asking if Dustin Brown being inserted into the line up could save his job. The short answer is yes. The long-term answer may be something completely different.

The Kings are off until Thursday when the Philadelphia Flyers will visit.
